With this option on, it should recognize when you are pasting a URL and automatically shorten via tinyurl or whatever choice of shortening service is most convenient for the application to automatically submit and retrieve a shortened URL, and insert that into the post.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;&lt;br&gt;That way, no second screen, the process of posting is just as streamlined it is currently, and you still get to see how many of the 140 you have left as you&amp;#39;re typing the post.&lt;/br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/br&gt;&lt;br&gt;P.S. You can associate images with a post other than by uploading to something like twitpic and including a link? Did not know this... how does it work?
